Meet Our Model – Elizabeth
Elizabeth was looking for an overall refresh but was anxious not to look cosmetically enhanced. She was unhappy with the condition of her skin, she was suffering from thinning, sun damage and unwanted pigmentation. We also identified a Loss of volume in her upper and lower face.
At Rejuva we use an approach that targets the traditional areas of ageing in an attempt to produce a natural result. Its not just about lines and wrinkles.
By combining different therapies and procedures we can create a more youthful complexion, a correction of volume loss and the relaxing of wrinkles. We tailored a specific plan to achieve Elizabeth’s goal of a more youthful and natural looking complexion.

Elizabeth – Before
Consultation
As with all our clients – we always start with a one-on-one consultation. With Elizabeth we felt that the best results could be obtained by utilising a combination of treatments.
After discussing all the options we created a bespoke treatment plan specifically designed for her needs.
Elizabeth’s journey took just over 3 months, including the ground-breaking PRP Therapy coupled with Dermapen, Wrinkle Relaxer injections to smooth lines, Fillers to provide volume and lift and IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatment to reduce pigmentation to fade sun spots.
IPL Pigmentation Reduction
We started Elizabeth’s regimen with IPL Pigmentation Reduction, IPL Pigmentation Reduction (IPL) is a non-invasive procedure used to treat conditions related to sun-induced skin damage.
IPL is effective in reducing the appearance of sun spots, freckles, uneven skin tone and superficial pigmentation. These Light pulses penetrate the tissue and creating heat, targeting the skin imperfection in a controlled manner. The body’s natural process then removes the treated tissue, while collagen and elastic fiber stimulation occurs, resulting in a visible improvement in skin tone and overall appearance.
We recommended a series of 4 sessions to help reduce the appearance of sun spots and pigmentation. These treatments were undertaken eight days apart to provide the best possible results.
We achieved some fantastic results in just a few treatments – Elizabeth’s skin is clearer and looks refreshed.
PRP Therapy & Dermapen
PRP Therapy is a cutting edge treatment which uses the healing potential of your own blood to bio-stimulate your skin cells, regrow collagen and improve micro-vascular blood flow for younger, healthier skin.
This cutting-edge technology is used by sports stars to get back on the field faster and by Hollywood stars to look their best.
We scheduled four PRP treatments for Elizabeth spread three weeks apart to stimulate the production of new collagen and improve blood flow to her damaged skin.
We coupled this treatment with the revolutionary Dermapen™ system. Dermapen™ is a micro-needling device which aims to tighten, lift and rejuvenate skin.
The Dermapen has a rapidly oscillating Tip which creates tiny punctures in the skin’s surface, causing micro-trauma, and inducing an immune response and the creation of new healthy collagen.
The punctures also act as micro-channels that carry topical nutrients used during the treatment deep into skin layers for an increased effect.
These treatments often work excellently together in a package to encourage new collagen growth and to tighten, lift and rejuvenate skin.

Filler
Filler is used to correct deep lines and wrinkles that become apparent with age.
Flattening of the cheeks and the appearance of jowls develop over time naturally as we age, using a long term filler can help correct these issues with long lasting natural results.
We used Rejuva’s 6 point vector lift which is designed to replace volume where it is lost during the aging process, resulting in a more youthful and natural looking appearance.
Wrinkle Relaxer Injection
Wrinkle relaxers are used to carefully relax the specific facial muscles that cause upper facial lines to form.
Treatment consists of several injections into specially selected locations using a very fine needle which relaxes the muscles underneath the skin resulting in smoother wrinkles.
We applied this treatment to three key area’s to reduce the appearance of frown lines, forehead wrinkles and crows feet.
